BlueCrest University College held its 26th convocation ceremony in Accra on October 31, 2025, where more than 90 students successfully graduated from various academic programmes. The graduation focused on students from the Information Technology and Business Studies departments, marking a significant milestone for the institution and its commitment to producing industry-ready professionals. The event brought together faculty, families, and industry stakeholders to celebrate the academic achievements of the graduating class.
Addressing the congregation, the Acting Rector, Professor Thomas Edwin Buabeng Assan, urged the graduates to look beyond their academic certificates and focus on the practical application of their knowledge. He encouraged them to use their skills to address pressing societal challenges while maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity. Special guest speaker Felicity Nelson reinforced this message, challenging the new alumni to transform their qualifications into tangible solutions that can drive national development.
The ceremony also recognised individual excellence, with several students receiving awards for outstanding academic performance. Valedictorian Grace Sey-Ansah delivered an inspiring address to her peers, calling on them to be proactive as they enter a competitive workforce. She emphasised that rather than waiting for employment opportunities, the graduates should leverage their technical training to create new opportunities and innovations for themselves and their communities.
As these 90 graduates transition into their respective careers, the university leadership underscored the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in a rapidly evolving global economy. The 26th convocation highlights BlueCrest University College's ongoing role in Ghana's education sector, particularly in equipping students with the digital and business competencies required for the modern job market.
