The Bethel Revival Choir has officially announced the return of its flagship annual praise and worship concert, the Akpe Experience. Scheduled for December 6, 2026, the event will be held at the ICGC Christ Temple. This free concert aims to bring together worshippers from across the country for a night of thanksgiving, continuing the choir's tradition of blending spiritual devotion with high-quality musical performance.
Under the theme "Faithful God," the 2026 edition is inspired by the biblical passage Lamentations 3:22–23. Organizers have structured the event around three strategic pillars: Worship, Impact, and Legacy. This framework ensures that the Akpe Experience transcends a standard musical performance by integrating a meaningful worship atmosphere with tangible social contributions. The "Impact" and "Legacy" components will focus on community outreach initiatives and specific improvement projects intended to leave a lasting benefit beyond the concert night.
Known for its distinct sound that fuses indigenous African rhythms with contemporary gospel music, the Bethel Revival Choir is expected to deliver a diverse repertoire. Attendees can look forward to live renditions of the award-winning group's popular songs such as Yesu, Mawu, and Akpe. By maintaining the event as a free admission service, the choir emphasizes its mission of accessibility, inviting a broad spectrum of the public to celebrate what they describe as the enduring faithfulness of God through music and community action.
