The Bethel Revival Choir has officially announced the return of its annual flagship praise and worship concert, the Akpe Experience, scheduled for December 6, 2026. The event will be hosted at the ICGC Christ Temple, serving as a major gathering for worshippers and gospel music enthusiasts to offer thanksgiving. This upcoming edition is designed not only as a musical performance but as a multifaceted spiritual encounter aimed at celebrating divine faithfulness through song and community action.
The theme for the 2026 edition is "Faithful God," which organisers say is inspired by the biblical verses of Lamentations 3:22–23. To deepen the significance of the event, the choir has structured the programme around three core pillars: Worship, Impact, and Legacy. These pillars are intended to guide the event beyond a traditional concert format, incorporating specific community outreach initiatives and support for improvement projects to create a lasting social footprint alongside the spiritual experience.
Known for their unique blend of indigenous African rhythms and contemporary gospel music, the award-winning Bethel Revival Choir has gained significant acclaim in Ghana and beyond for hit songs such as Yesu, Mawu, and Akpe. The 2026 Akpe Experience will continue this tradition of musical excellence, offering a free platform for the public to engage in communal worship. The choir expects the combination of high-energy praise and dedicated outreach to further their mission of serving both the spiritual and physical needs of their audience.
