Adwoa Smart receives fully furnished house from Maame Gold

Veteran Ghanaian actress Adwoa Smart has been gifted a fully furnished one-bedroom apartment by businesswoman Maame Gold. The donation was made following the actress's public appeal for assistance after her previous residence in Abossey Okai was severely damaged by heavy rains. The video of the presentation, which has since gone viral on social media, captures the emotional moment the veteran performer was handed the keys to her new home.

The gift follows a period of significant distress for the actress. Recently, Adwoa Smart shared a video online showcasing the aftermath of a downpour that left her Abossey Okai home in a state of disrepair, with many of her personal belongings destroyed. Her plea for support touched the hearts of many Ghanaians, eventually catching the attention of Maame Gold, who stepped in to provide a permanent and secure housing solution.

During the handover ceremony, Adwoa Smart was moved to tears as she toured the fully furnished rooms of her new residence. The apartment is equipped with modern amenities intended to provide her with a comfortable and safe living environment, effectively moving her away from the flood-prone area she previously occupied. This act of philanthropy has been widely commended by the public, highlighting the ongoing importance of supporting iconic figures in Ghana's creative arts industry during their times of personal hardship.
