Twellium Industrial Company Limited has officially transformed its operations from a Ghana-based manufacturer into a regional industrial network by establishing production facilities in Burkina Faso and Senegal. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for the company, which began its journey in 2013 and has since become a prominent player in the West African beverage and packaged food sectors. By localizing production in neighboring countries, Twellium is strengthening its supply chain and reducing its reliance on direct exports from its Ghanaian hubs. The company’s growth is underpinned by extensive infrastructure, including primary manufacturing facilities in Accra and Kumasi. The Kumasi plant maintains substantial bottling capabilities that support the production of flagship brands such as Verna Mineral Water and Rush Energy Drink. The new factories in Burkina Faso and Senegal are designed to support local production needs, allowing the company to better serve the francophone market while maintaining the quality standards established at its Ghanaian headquarters. Beyond its beverage portfolio, Twellium has diversified its product range to include dairy drinks and confectionery under the McBerry brand. This diversification has allowed the manufacturer to capture a broader share of the regional consumer goods market. The company's industrial performance and commitment to quality were recently recognized at the 2026 Ghana Manufacturing Awards, where it received multiple accolades for its contribution to the sector. In addition to its industrial footprint, the company continues to manage its corporate social responsibility through the Twellium Foundation, which provides community support across its operational areas. As Twellium strengthens its presence across West Africa, the expansion is expected to bolster Ghana's reputation as a manufacturing hub while creating new employment opportunities and enhancing cross-border trade within the ECOWAS region.
