Organized by the Young Investors Network in collaboration with the Ghana Stock Exchange and other partners, the National Investment Quiz is designed to transform complex financial concepts into accessible knowledge for teenagers. By testing students on subjects such as stocks, bonds, and investment strategies, the competition provides practical experience in financial management and offers mentorship opportunities to participants. This year's event saw 20 schools compete through various stages before narrowing down to the final four, with the proceedings broadcast to a national audience on JoyNews TV.
The St Augustine’s Past Students Union (APSU) Secretariat has formally congratulated the team, praising the contestants, coordinators, and staff for their dedication. APSU highlighted that the back-to-back victories serve as an inspiration for students to pursue leadership roles in Finance, Economics, and Business. As financial literacy becomes increasingly vital for national development, the success of the 2026 competition underscores the growing importance of integrating investment education into the Senior High School curriculum, preparing the next generation of Ghanaian leaders for the complexities of the global economy.
