Reggae and dancehall icon Samini has officially launched the 2026 edition of the Samini Xperience, expanding the brand into a comprehensive week-long festival. Scheduled for December 18 to 24, the event will take place in Dansoman, the artist's home neighborhood, signaling a shift from a standalone concert to a broader celebration of music, culture, and community service.
The festival program includes a diverse range of activities aimed at fostering community spirit and engagement. Residents can look forward to community clean-up exercises and a health walk, followed by a food bazaar, a basketball tournament, and a talent showcase. The festivities will also feature a street carnival, all building momentum toward the grand finale: a Christmas Eve concert at the Carl Reindorf Stadium.
In collaboration with the Dansoman Municipal Assembly, the initiative is designed to provide economic and social benefits to the local area. By spotlighting Dansoman, the festival aims to support local businesses and provide a platform for cultural expression.
