The young girl was reported missing on October 17, 2023, after failing to return home in Gomoa Buduburam. Her disappearance sparked an immediate search and investigation by local authorities, leading to the apprehension of the two suspects on October 20.
According to police investigations, Blessing was last seen in the company of the suspects before she vanished. The Central East Regional Police Command praised the diligence of the officers involved in tracking down the suspects and securing the crime scene.
