Nana Blawie Kandango III, the Divisional Chief of the Bawia Traditional Area, has presented 50 mono desks and a multi-purpose printing machine to the Bawia Technical Institute in the Jomoro Municipality. This donation is intended to address immediate furniture shortages and improve administrative efficiency at the vocational training center, underscoring the traditional leadership's commitment to enhancing local educational infrastructure and supporting youth development through technical training.
During the presentation, the Chief emphasized that the institute plays a pivotal role in equipping young people with the practical skills necessary for modern employment. He noted that providing a conducive learning environment is essential for student success and regional economic growth. The addition of the multi-purpose printing machine is expected to significantly facilitate the production of learning materials and administrative documents, which had previously posed a challenge for the school's faculty and staff.
Nana Kandango III further assured the school administration and students of the continued support of the Bawia Traditional Council. He pledged to advocate for further improvements to the school's facilities and resources, highlighting the long-term goal of transforming the institute into a premier technical training hub. This gesture reflects the active role traditional leaders in Ghana are playing in augmenting government efforts to develop educational institutions within their jurisdictions.
