Ghanaian gospel musician Mercy Sinclear has officially released two new studio albums titled 'Deep Calleth' and 'Reflections.' These projects represent her fourth and fifth recorded works, further establishing her presence in the local gospel music scene. The dual release provides listeners with a diverse musical experience, blending traditional spirituals with contemporary original compositions. Both albums were made available on major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, on October 17, 2023.
The two albums serve distinct purposes within Sinclear’s discography. 'Reflections' is a curated collection of 12 tracks featuring classic hymns and beloved Ghanaian spiritual songs, aimed at connecting audiences with timeless religious heritage. In contrast, 'Deep Calleth' consists of 12 original tracks written by the artiste. This project focuses on themes of hope, faith, and restoration, offering a more contemporary sound while maintaining a strong spiritual foundation.
To enrich the sound of 'Deep Calleth,' Sinclear collaborated with emerging worship ministers Lester Ekow Quayson and Ben Bessie. Their contributions add a dynamic layer to the worship experience presented in the album. To celebrate the launch of these two projects, a special event was held at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries. The launch brought together fans, fellow musicians, and members of the Christian community to witness the first live performances of the new material.
The simultaneous release of two full-length albums highlights Sinclear's productivity and dedication to her ministry. By offering both original music and traditional hymns, she caters to a wide demographic of gospel music lovers in Ghana and across the diaspora. As these albums begin to circulate on digital platforms, they are expected to bolster her reputation as a consistent voice in the Ghanaian worship space.
