Ghanaian logistics firm ShaQ Express has appointed seasoned entrepreneur and business advisor Leah Nduati as the chairman of its newly inaugurated Advisory Board. The appointment is part of a strategic effort by the company to strengthen its corporate governance structures and provide expert oversight during its current growth phase. The board is expected to guide the firm as it expands its delivery operations and solidifies its position in the competitive Ghanaian logistics market.
Joining Nduati on the Advisory Board are four other professionals: Charles N. Armah, Felix Nana Osei, Beatrice Bota, and Michael Kwabena Acolatse. Each member will serve a two-year term, offering specialized expertise in corporate strategy, financial management, governance, and commercial expansion. This collective leadership is designed to ensure the company adheres to international business standards while navigating the complexities of nationwide scaling.
Rhoda Folie, the Director and General Manager of ShaQ Express, emphasized that the board's formation is a critical milestone for the company's expansion goals. She noted that the wealth of experience brought by the new members will be instrumental in reaching more customers across the country. Leah Nduati expressed her commitment to the role, praising the company's existing operations and highlighting the board's focus on market preparation and robust governance frameworks.
Founded in 2020, ShaQ Express has rapidly grown to operate nine regional branches across Ghana. The company utilizes a diverse fleet that includes both electric and conventional motorbikes to provide delivery services. The establishment of the Advisory Board marks a significant transition for the startup as it moves toward a more structured corporate model intended to support sustainable long-term growth.
