Veteran Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo has officially clarified why he is not featuring in the latest star-studded film project produced by fellow actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, commonly known as LilWin. Despite the production's significant buzz and its inclusion of several high-profile industry figures, Adjorlolo revealed that he was unable to accept a role in the movie due to pressing health concerns that arose following a previous professional engagement.
During an interview on Max TV, the veteran actor explained that the invitation to join LilWin's production arrived at a time when he was physically drained. Adjorlolo had just returned to Ghana from Nigeria, where he had been heavily involved in a separate film project. The intensity of his work in the Nigerian film industry, combined with the travel, reportedly left him in a state of poor health, necessitating a period of rest and recovery rather than an immediate return to a film set.
LilWin’s upcoming movie is anticipated to be one of the most ambitious projects in recent Ghanaian cinema, featuring a blend of local stars and international talent. While Adjorlolo's absence may be felt by fans of his long-standing career, his decision highlights the physical toll of cross-border acting careers and the necessity of prioritizing personal wellbeing. The actor did not provide further details on his current condition but indicated that his health was the primary factor in his professional choice at the time.
