Keche Joshua, a member of the Ghanaian music group Keche, has voiced his frustration regarding the disparity in treatment between Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes. In a recent video shared on X, Joshua highlighted the preferential treatment Nigerian artist Rema received during his visit to Ghana, despite Rema lacking a standout hit compared to many local musicians. He lamented that Ghanaians often celebrate international acts while neglecting and undermining their own talent. Joshua called for a shift in attitude among fans, urging them to support local artistes more fervently and recognize their contributions to the music scene. His comments come as a rallying cry for greater appreciation of Ghanaian music and artists, emphasizing the need for unity and support within the local industry.
