Indomie Ghana has officially launched its "Yi Wo Deə" consumer promotion to celebrate its 20th anniversary of operations in the country. The three-month campaign is designed to reward the brand's loyal customer base while simultaneously funding several high-impact community projects. The promotion’s grand prize is a brand-new car, alongside a variety of other rewards intended to engage consumers across the nation during this milestone year.
Participation in the promotion requires customers to purchase Indomie products and submit unique codes found inside the packaging to qualify for periodic draws. According to Brand Manager Jessica Quaynor, the "Yi Wo Deə" initiative is a direct response to the loyalty shown by Ghanaian consumers over the past two decades. She noted that the campaign is not only about winning prizes but also about giving back to the communities that have sustained the brand's growth since its entry into the Ghanaian market.
A central feature of the anniversary celebration is the inclusion of a social intervention component led by prominent Ghanaian figures. Four celebrities—actress Nana Ama McBrown, dancehall star Stonebwoy, media personality Giovanni Caleb, and musician KiDi—have been selected to spearhead specific community-driven projects. The level of funding and support these projects receive will be tied to the volume of consumer participation throughout the duration of the promotion, effectively allowing customers to contribute to social change through their purchases.
To maintain the integrity of the campaign, Indomie Ghana has partnered with the National Lottery Authority (NLA), which will oversee all draws and prize allocations to ensure fairness. This collaborative approach underscores the brand's commitment to transparency as it marks 20 years of being a household name in Ghana. The promotion is expected to run through the next quarter, deepening the brand's connection with its diverse consumer base.
