The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) Fire and Safety team and the LCB Worldwide Ghana football team emerged as the standout victors of the 2026 LCB Corporate Games, which concluded on October 31, 2026. The competition, staged across venues in Tema and Accra, served as a platform for corporate staff to engage in healthy competition while strengthening professional ties outside the office environment. This year’s edition saw 16 teams from various sectors battling for the top prizes, highlighting the growing popularity of the annual event among Ghana’s corporate community.
In the Tema Zone final, GPHA Fire and Safety demonstrated defensive resilience to overcome the Ghana National Fire Service with a narrow 1-0 win. Conversely, the Accra Zone final was a display of offensive dominance as LCB Worldwide Ghana cruised to a 5-0 victory over the Ghana Immigration Service. For their efforts, each of the winning teams was awarded GH₵20,000. The organisers also ensured that runners-up and second runners-up did not leave empty-handed, providing them with cash prizes to acknowledge their competitive spirit and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
The LCB Corporate Games aim to foster unity and encourage physical fitness within the corporate world. According to the organisers, the success of the 16-team tournament provides a strong foundation for scaling up the initiative. LCB Worldwide has signaled its intent to invite more companies from a diverse range of industries in future editions, seeking to broaden the scope of the games. By integrating more sectors, the organisers hope to create a larger network of professionals connected through the shared values of teamwork and athletic excellence.
