Road safety officials have repeatedly warned motorists about the dangers of excessive speed on the N1 Highway, which serves as a vital international corridor for West African trade and travel. This incident underscores the ongoing necessity for strict adherence to traffic regulations and the proper marking of stationary vehicles on major highways to prevent further loss of life.
