Carter Efe alleges Made in Ghana mocked Stonebwoy over walking style

Nigerian comedian and streamer Carter Efe has sparked controversy within the Ghanaian entertainment industry by alleging that local content creator Made in Ghana made derogatory remarks about dancehall artiste Stonebwoy. According to Efe, the remarks targeted Stonebwoy’s walking style and physical health, specifically suggesting that the musician suffers from a "leg problem." These claims emerged following Efe’s recent visit to Ghana, where he engaged with several prominent figures in the digital and music sectors.

The allegations are particularly sensitive given Stonebwoy’s history regarding a leg injury, a topic that has often been a point of discussion in the media. Efe claims that during a conversation, Made in Ghana mocked the way the musician walks, a gesture that has drawn significant attention from fans and industry observers due to its perceived insensitivity. The Nigerian streamer, who was accompanied on his trip by his girlfriend, Taylor Jasmine, indicated that these comments were shared during his interactions with the local content creator.

During his stay in the country, Carter Efe also spent time with other high-profile entertainers, most notably Shatta Wale. Efe described a warm reception from the singer, who reportedly welcomed the Nigerian visitor and gifted him a sum of money. The streamer's revelation regarding Made in Ghana provides a stark contrast to the hospitality he reported receiving from Shatta Wale and other members of the Ghanaian creative community during his visit.

As of now, Made in Ghana has not publicly responded to the allegations made by Carter Efe regarding the nature of their conversation. The situation highlights the potential for private interactions between international influencers and local creators to spill into the public domain, especially when they involve critiques of prominent cultural icons. The incident has triggered a wave of discussions online regarding the boundaries of humor and the level of respect accorded to public figures who have dealt with physical challenges.
