Big Chef Junior finalists to compete for GH₵20,000 in Accra finale

The grand finale of Joy Prime’s Big Chef Junior Season 5 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Joy FM Car Park in Accra. Four finalists—Afia, Akosua, Clara, and Sethlyne—will vie for the prestigious title and a cash prize of GH₵20,000. The event, which represents the culmination of weeks of intensive culinary challenges, is set to begin at 4:00 pm, though organizers have encouraged patrons to arrive by 2:00 pm to secure their spots for the live show.

For the final showdown, the young chefs are tasked with preparing creative variations of fried rice, a challenge designed to showcase the technical skills and culinary creativity they have developed throughout the competition. The journey to the finale has been characterized by significant growth and several emotional eliminations, as the contestants navigated various kitchen tasks to prove their proficiency. Supporters of the finalists can still influence the outcome by voting for their preferred contestant via a dedicated dial-in code.

In addition to the cooking competition, the grand finale will feature entertainment from popular comedian Funny Face and young performers from the DGL Academy, ensuring a festive atmosphere for the live audience.
